Stacey Mandel
Wellness Coach: Mindfulness, Meditation

I’m Stacey, and I teach mindfulness as someone who lives with ADHD and complex motor tics—so I get it when sitting still feels impossible, when your brain won’t cooperate or when you’re so bored you think you’ll lose your mind.

For years, I struggled with the very things mindfulness is supposed to help: focusing, creating structure for practice, decreasing anxiety, staying awake during meditation and improving sleep. Traditional approaches didn’t work for my brain. So I learned to adapt, experiment and find what actually works for bodies and minds that move differently.

I believe all of us, but especially neurodiverse people, need the “just right” teacher at the right time. When you’re ready, that teacher finds you. Maybe that’s me, maybe it’s not—but if it is, here’s what you can expect: I’m deeply attuned and intuitive. I read energy, see what others miss and create offerings that truly resonate because I actually see you— I am you!

I’m an out-of-the-box thinker, guaranteed never boring, and I’ll do whatever it takes if you let me. Fidget, move, talk, question everything—all welcome here. There’s no “perfect” way to practice, plus imperfect practice is pretty much exactly what it’s all about.

My work over the past 25 years spans public and private schools, special education settings, prisons and community organizations. I’m a certified professional mindfulness teacher (CMT-P), certified trauma-competent professional, certified K-12 teacher, Level II Reiki practitioner and certified medicinal aromatherapist.

Different brains, different practices. Let’s find yours.
