The Neurodiverse Collaborative is the first ecosystem of its kind being built by and for the neurodivergent community. We believe neurodivergent individuals and families should not just have access to services, they should be the voices driving how those services are designed, delivered, and owned. We are starting online and growing into something much bigger.
The Neurodiverse Collaborative is here to build what the neurodivergent community has never had: a support ecosystem that is designed by the people who need it, accountable to the people who use it, and ultimately owned by them. This is a full community infrastructure built around the lives of neurodivergent individuals and their families.
The current system is fragmented, outcomes are inconsistent, and the people who need services most have the least power over how those services are delivered. ND Collab will change that model from the ground up.
We are starting with an online platform and growing into an in-person community. The goal is not just better access to services, it is purpose, fulfillment, and genuine belonging for neurodivergent people and their families.
Our Vision
A 50-acre venue for the neurodivergent community.
Our long-term vision is a physical campus in the Lehigh Valley. A complete community destination where neurodivergent individuals of all ages can find purpose, learn, work, shop, eat, play, live, and belong. Every zone is designed with sensory needs at the center, and accommodations are built in rather than offered as an afterthought. Employment and volunteer opportunities available throughout.
Every program, every provider, and every conversation is grounded in these four principles.
Every neurodivergent person, regardless of how they communicate or what their diagnosis says, is presumed to be fully capable, thinking, and deserving of real engagement. This is not optimism. It is the non-negotiable ethical foundation of every provider in our network, every program we build, and every conversation we have.
Neurodivergent individuals are not passive recipients of support. They are the experts on their own experience. We center lived experience in everything we build, from who we bring into the network to how we design programs. If it affects the neurodivergent community, the neurodivergent community shapes it.
No single provider has all the answers. Our model brings together practitioners from different disciplines to actually talk to each other, coordinate plans, and work toward the same goals. Your family should not have to be the one connecting the dots between your child’s OT, their speech therapist, and other services. We do that.
The science of neurodiversity is evolving fast. Best practices are changing. Frameworks that were standard 10 years ago are being questioned by the very community they were meant to serve. We stay current, we question what we thought we knew, and we never treat our understanding as finished. We grow so the people we support can too.
You will see that phrase used a lot. Here is what it actually means in practice and what we hold every provider in our network to.
Traditional approaches to neurodivergent support have too often focused on compliance, conformity, and reducing behaviors labeled as atypical. The goal was to make neurodivergent people look more neurotypical. Neurodiversity-affirming practice starts from a completely different place: neurological differences are natural human variation, not disorders to be corrected.
At ND Collab, every provider is vetted not just for credentials but for alignment with this philosophy. Your family will never encounter support that asks a neurodivergent person to mask who they are in order to make someone else more comfortable.
We start from what a person really enjoys and build from there. Purpose and fulfillment are critically important and they are needed in order to set a strong foundation.
Support should help people navigate the world, not hide who they are in order to fit into it. Masking is exhausting. We are not asking anyone to do more of it.
Goals are set by and with the individual and family, not handed down by a clinician reading from a checklist. You know your person. We build from that.
We measure progress against your goals. Success looks different for everyone. That’s the whole point.
The Neurodiverse Collaborative operates as an LLC, and that structure is intentional. The long-term goal is for this organization to be member-owned. The people who rely on these services should have real ownership, real decision-making power, and a real stake in how this community grows.
Most companies providing services to the neurodivergent community are built around billable hours, not outcomes. ND Collab is being built the other way around. The community defines what support looks like and the organization delivers it.
The Neurodiverse Collaborative Foundation is currently forming its founding board.
The Foundation will raise grants and scholarship funding for neurodivergent individuals and families. It will also fund and run community programming, both through the online platform and eventually on the physical campus.
The LLC and the Foundation are separate entities with separate governance. The Foundation is accountable to the community it serves with its own board drawn from people who understand this space from the inside.
ND Collab is being built by people who believe in it. Whether you want to bring your professional skills, your time, or your leadership, there is a place for you in this.
Are you a neurodiversity-affirming practitioner? We are building a network of specialists who are values-aligned, collaborative, and committed to doing this differently. If that sounds like you, we want to talk.
