About Deisha

For more than 10 years, I have had the opportunity to work with children and families, including 8 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). My journey has included roles as a preschool teacher, childcare director, Behavior Health Technician, and Licensed Behavior Specialist. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of child development, behavior, family dynamics, and the importance of meeting each person where they are.

My approach is supportive, practical, and individualized. I believe in presuming competence, embracing neurodiversity, and focusing on a person’s strengths while helping them build skills in areas where they may need additional support. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I work to understand what is meaningful and realistic for each individual and family.

When working with me, clients can expect patience, compassion, honesty, and a judgment-free environment. I enjoy helping individuals and caregivers develop practical strategies for executive functioning, emotional regulation, communication, social connections, daily living skills, and navigating everyday challenges. My goal is to help clients feel understood and supported while building skills, confidence, and greater independence in ways that work for them and their everyday lives.
